Our youngest daughter woke early a few days ago. Not sure what to make of it, I told her to go sleep some more. The look in her face made me sense she was not comfortable with that idea. Upon further probing, she said she was having dreams with snakes in them. Well, she does not like snakes. Going back to bed was out of the picture. It was couch time.I had a brilliant idea. I told her, next time those snake dreams came along, to simply say, "thank you God for snakes." I convinced her that by turning the negative dreams into praise to God, the dreams would disappear. She had a beautiful smile on her face. Daddy, had scored on that point.
Later that day, she came from school. She shared that there was this one boy who gave her a lot of trouble that day. She even had to tell the teacher. However, the boy would not relent.
She looked at me intently I guess to reading my facial expressions , and said, "So daddy, do you know what I said, thank you God for BOYS!"
Have a negative turned into positive kinda day…Won’t you?

This was so far the best Stem Fair Exhibition I have attended in East Orange. The East Orange School District made sure that students were fed, greatly entertained and also had the opportunity to learn. It was a great recipe for success! Congrats Dr. Kevin West and Dr. Harvest. This Science Fair rocked!

Dj Pharaoh, great Job. I hope the  E. O. school district gives you a full time contract to all their events…you made the Science Fair exhibition fun and lively. Keep it up.
